Classic Frozen Margarita

The margarita is likely one of the first drinks that comes to mind when you think of blended, frozen cocktails.

Ingredients

  • 1 lime wedge
  • Rimming salt
  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Rub the lime wedge around the rim of a margarita glass.
  2. Put the salt in a shallow dish. Dip the rim of the glass in the salt to rim it.
  3. Add the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice to the blender.
  4. Cover and blend the ingredients until smooth.
