How to Make a Bomb Pop Drink

Layered drinks have a lot of wow factor. The trick is to pour all the layers in the right order and slowly so they don't sink into the one beneath it. Don't worry... we'll walk you through it.

Layering the Bomb Pop Drink

You can use a number of flavors and ingredients to achieve the same red, white, and blue result.

  • Instead of lemonade, opt for a hard lemonade, equal parts freshly squeezed lemon juice shaken with honey liqueur or orange liqueur, or a coconut rum with a splash of lime juice.
  • Swap a raspberry liqueur for the raspberry vodka and grenadine. Alternatively, you can also use a cherry vodka on its own, so long as it's red (or color it with a splash of cherry juice). You can also infuse your own flavored cherry vodka at home.
  • For the blue layer, you can use a blue-hued blue raspberry vodka or blueberry vodka, or consider shaking the citron vodka with a blue sports drink.

Bomb Pop Cocktail Garnishes

This over-the-top drink could get away without the adornment of a garnish, but you can still add to the look.

  • Add a decorative shiny sparkler decoration as a garnish.
  • We don't think a tiny American flag on a toothpick spearing a cherry would be too on the nose.
  • Rub the rim of the glass with a lemon or lime wedge and dip the rim into blue or red sugar.
  • Pierce a raspberry with a cocktail skewer or alternate raspberries and cherries on a cocktail skewer.
  • Use a citrus garnish, such as a lemon wheel or slice.

How to Make a Bomb Pop Shot

Want red, white, and blue in miniature? Bomb pop shot it is! Much like the sibling, layered Astro Pop shot, it'll be delightfully POPular.
