Behind the Name: The Cinderella

Interestingly, there isn't much consensus among mixologists and drink-enthusiasts about where this tropical mocktail got its name from. While there are blue-tinted alcoholic mixed drinks that share the same name, this brightly-flavored drink has seemingly no similarities to the Cinderella story. There have been some recent drinks made in honor of the moderately successful 1980s rock band, Cinderella, and there is small a chance that this drink was devised by a die-hard rock fan. Whether its name stems from musical or literary origins, the Cinderella does provide anyone who drinks it with a magical experience.

If the Drink Fits, Take a Sip

While there is a multitude of unique nonalcoholic drink recipes out there, versions of the Cinderella are always able to please because of their classic fruity and bubbly combinations. So, if you want to put a pep in your step, make one of these brightly colored mocktails for yourself.
